Based in Alexandria, Virginia, I bring a diverse background and global perspective to my work in eLearning and instructional design. Originally from Queens, New York, I continued my studies at the American University of Armenia, which laid the foundation for a career that spans communications and education. With experience in social media and video editing, I now leverage these skills to create impactful eLearning solutions that blend sound instructional design with engaging, meaningful content.
I hold a BA in Communications, which equips me to craft clear, compelling messages for diverse audiences. My MA in TEFL further sharpens my expertise in language education, enabling targeted and effective learning experiences. Together, these qualifications shape my approach to eLearning—where communication, education, and design intersect to produce high-quality instructional content.
Instructional design, to me, is the practice of creating learning experiences that resonate. My approach is grounded in the belief that learning should be intuitive, engaging, and visually clear. By combining instructional design principles with visual design, marketing strategy, and video editing techniques, I develop courses that are both educational and enjoyable. Whether through interactive activities, scenario-based learning, or media-rich content, I focus on experiences that are memorable, impactful, and aligned with learner and institutional goals.
As a Quality Matters (QM) Certified Peer Reviewer working in higher education, I design and review courses against the QM Higher Education Rubric and partner closely with faculty and program leadership to meet institutional standards. My work emphasizes measurable objectives, transparent assessments, accessibility (WCAG-aligned), and learner engagement through regular and substantive interaction. I build in clear navigation, concise policies, and supportive media to help students focus on learning, while aligning CLOs with PLOs and ensuring each course meets both academic and compliance expectations.
